I have really neglected my blog, for several weeks now, I have missed "symöten" and yarn alongs, because I have been on vacation in Sweden!! What have I been doing, well, I have been kayaking in the baltic sea, it was divine! Sunny blue sky, blue water and nice company, my brother;) It was the first time for me in this kind of a kayak but it wasn´t hard at all, as the water was calm and smooth as a dance floor!
And I have bought some books, and some more books... Books about knitting and about sewing etc and of course I got some yarn as well. I got Z twined yarn at Sätergläntan, that is going to turn into a par of gloves (in twined? knitting) and a beautiful multicolored cottonyarn at Hemslöjden in Umeå, I do not know yet for what. And then there where some cute Dalahorses, that I couldn´t resist, a beautiful Daisy-button and some lovely weaved ribbons...
I have been crocheting a little as well, I will tell you about that some other time;)

All these books are so inspiring, I have already started some projects. I really enjoy the books on baby´s things, to get new motivation to knit for needing babies!

Dear Lori ann, I think it is funny, I dream of the US Westcoast and younabout my homecountry;)
RaderaI have tried twined knitting once but never finished a project yet, I'll keep you posted when I start!
i hope we both have the chance to realize our dreams, if (when) you come here it would be my pleasure to be your personal tour guide!
Raderai have a book called northern knits, included are patterns from scandinavian countries, and there is some twined knitting, i think i need to try my hand at it too. but i will wait for your support!
I hope so too, if possible, it would of course be great to meet up in Sweden also!
